Liechtenauer is best known from his long tenure as the Weapons Master of the Duke of Wenland around 19870 AC. Aside from his rather wonderul Fechtbuch, which anyone studying the use of weapons should see, Liechtenauer’s notes were also bundled and copied out by one of his many illegitimate children. The notes go into great detail, giving great context to his martial studies. For anyone seeking in-depth understanding of the martial pursuit, this work is perhaps more valuable even than his Fechtbuch.
